At Whittens we take a patient and client centred approach to treatment for every service. Our focus is to assess your condition, educate you about what the problem is, its causes and appropriate treatment. We use a number of different techniques to help you rehabilitate post injury, getting you back to your best self as quickly and safely as we can.

Lena Juross

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Lena is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and the principal physiotherapist at Whittens Physiotherapy Centre. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 1990. Initially she worked in the public hospital system and then took over Whittens Physiotherapy Centre in 1995. She has worked as a physiotherapist at the 2000 Olympic Games, 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games and spent five years providing service to the local Division 1 EFL team Donvale. Recently Lena has been awarded a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy after a further three years of study.

Gavin Franks

Physiotherapist

Gavin graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2001 and joined Whittens Physiotherapy Centre in April 2005. He has previously worked in the public and private hospital system. He also worked at Arthritis Victoria coordinating their exercise programs and running educational courses. Gavin has also been involved in sporting groups including Doncaster and Donvale Football Clubs.

Gavin’s interests include keeping fit with running and going to the gym in the minimal time he has now that his second child has arrived.

Rhonda Jalanski - Whittens Physiotherapy Doncaster's receptionist

Rhonda Jalanski

Receptionist / Administration Manager

Rhonda is our receptionist and administration manager. Rhonda joined Whittens Physiotherapy Centre in 2007. She will look after your appointment making, accounts, referrals and any reports the physiotherapists require. She keeps the physios organized and ensures that all their paperwork is kept up to date.

Rhonda keeps fit by going for long walks (you might see her around Doncaster) and going on caravan trips with her husband.
